Add notes, highlights, and ink to a song

Annotations let you mark a specific song revision without changing its ChordPro source.

Open annotation mode

Open a song in the reader and select Annotate. Choose one of these tools:

  • Note — attach text to a line;
  • Highlight — mark a line;
  • Ink — draw directly on the reader; or
  • Erase — remove your annotations.

Choose Read when you want to navigate without adding marks.

Add a note

  1. Choose Note.
  2. Select the lyric or chord line.
  3. Enter the note.
  4. Select Save note.

Choose visibility

Annotations are Private by default. Editors can choose Shared when a mark should be visible to other workspace members.

Manage or remove annotations

Select Manage annotations to review the annotations on the current revision. Use Erase to remove your own marks from the reader. The eraser does not delete another member's annotations.

Annotations belong to a specific song revision. When a setlist uses that revision, its annotations remain available across reader layouts.
