Use BetterSongbook offline and resolve sync conflicts

BetterSongbook is offline-first. Downloaded songs, verified setlists, personal reader settings, and cached workspace information remain available without a connection.

Before going offline

  • Open any songs you need and confirm they are downloaded.
  • Open each performance setlist and select Download & verify.
  • Wait for Offline ready.

Work while offline

Changes made without a connection are saved locally and queued for synchronization. BetterSongbook retries them when connectivity returns. A failed attempt does not discard your local changes.

Sync manually

Open the synchronization status from the song library and select Sync now. In Setlists, use Sync setlists to pull remote setlist changes.

Resolve a song conflict

A conflict can occur when the same song changes on this device and on the server before synchronization completes.

  1. Open Synchronization.
  2. Review the conflicting versions.
  3. Select Use server version or Use this device.

The selected version becomes current. Both versions remain preserved in the song's revision history.

Content marked Not downloaded

The song is known to the workspace but its content is not stored on this device. Reconnect and download it before adding it to an offline setlist or relying on it during a performance.
